• I believe parents should let THE CHILD determine when he or she is ready to potty train.
  • Some preschools will not accept a child if he or she is not potty trained.
  • Talk to the head of the school – it is ONLY up to the child to decide when ready.
  • Work with the school to find a solution that allows the child to choose – maybe put a diaper that pulls up and down easily on the child.
  • Not every child reaches the milestone at the exact same time.
